The Culture Club

Join us each month as we discuss a novel, comic, movie, poem, or other media each rooted in themes of personal cultural heritage, anti-racism, and diversity. If you're looking for a fun way to spend Friday evenings, connect with community, or read a more unique array of books, the Culture Club may be perfect for you!

Here's our upcoming discussion line up:

February: The Sleeping Car Porter by Suzette Mayr (book - pick up at museum)
March: Women Talking by Miriam Towes (book - pick up at museum) AND/OR Women Talking by Sarah Polley (film - available on Prime)
April: Beans by Tracey Deer (film - available for free on CBC Gem)
May: Denison Avenue by Christina Wong (book - pick up at museum)
June: Queer poetry club (we will link to recommendations of LGBTQ poets and people can also come with their own favourite)

Last Friday of every month from 6 PM to 8 PM.
