Join us at the museum this summer for our Summer Heritage Camp! This week long program will introduce your child to how museum exhibitions are put together, they’ll learn about and interact with different artifacts, and take part in various heritage activities involving history, art, cooking, gardening, and more. They will then design a project of their choice inspired by the displays we have in our museum which will then be temporarily added to our current exhibits.
Our Heritage Camp is open for kids ages 9-12, and runs Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4pm. There are three separate week long options available. $250 per child for the week.
Our camps are located inside a heritage house museum, involve interacting with real artifacts, and require certain degrees of independent work when developing and executing their display projects. We ask that parents take into account the interest level of their child when signing them up.
Available sessions:
Week 1: July 14-18
Week 2: July 28 – Aug 1
Week 3: Aug 11-15
We reserve the right to change or update any scheduled activity as needed.
