ABOUT OUR SENIOR IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM
Connecting seniors with the next generation!
Local seniors play a vital role in our community as knowledge keepers. Our Senior in Residence Program is a project dedicated to helping bridge the gap between seniors and other generations, to ensure cultural practices, artforms, and knowledge sources are shared between different age demographics. Through workshops, open-studio dates, curated exhibits, and presentations, we've worked to platform skills like upcycling, memoir-making, nature-sketching, stamp-carving, and more!
Our Senior-in-Residence program is funded by the Government of Canada's New Horizons for Seniors Grant.
