Tea + Scones Tour

Mackin House Museum is a heritage home built in 1909. Our interior is decorated with period objects that give the museum a homey and warm atmosphere. Each September to June we host a special exhibit highlighting certain objects in our collection and topics that speak to the heritage of the Coquitlam community. During the Summer months of July and August the museum celebrates the Edwardian period with artifacts referencing the history of Maillardville and the Fraser Mills Lumber Company. Summer is also the period when the Fraser Mills Train Station is open for tours & tourism information.

Mackin House is available for bookings when our programs and events are not in session.

We offer several options for private tours, dinner parties and company functions.

Earlier week day start times or evening events are also possible.

After the tour is booked, the organizer will receive a confirmation, including all necessary information. The organizer will confirm the number of guests one week before the tour and will be invoiced accordingly. Tours are payable in cash or cheques written to the Coquitlam Heritage Society.
